Elephant memory

Useful children’s toys
2016

translated by Danae Sioziou

In our living room, a forest grows rapidly, yet we undust our never used tea pots in
the buffet furniture, we shine the expensive silvers.
Year after year the twigs blossom, the grass rises, we find it difficult to move from
one place to another, we’ve begun to mark our way around, all the less we see each
other, we speak.
It’s not necessary; the wild animals are moving closer to us now without being afraid.
