Time and death

Paper' s memory
2009

translated by Yannis Goumas

Time and death are but children

they strip off things, unstitch yarns aside

and wash them in the sea

they play and leave behind them

ruins and bones,

meanings forgone,

they cover them just anyhow with earth

and prepare themselves for the next means
