Yiannis Doukas was born in Athens (1981). He studied Philology (BA, Athens), Classics (MA, Athens) and Digital Humanities (MA, King’s College London). He has published a book of short stories with the title The world as I came and found it (Kedros, 2001) and two poetry collections: Inner borders (Polis, 2011) and The Stendhal syndrome (Polis, 2013) which received the Academy of Athens Prize for the best collection by a young poet.
