Errantry

The monodists
1991

translated by Elena Vlastari

Travelling in the dark
I've seen the zephyrs
articulate knowledge
on the sand.
The flowery sent. The breath
of the small birds
there.
Forever solving the timeless through the centuries.
The blue window of July.
There.
There where the brine dawns
on the pebbles that lay anticipating
the centuries and the nous
to ally.
Waves and oceans
Death and happiness.
Bloom elegant bindweeds
echo of the absolute.
The break of day contributes to
the earth's stability
and then the figures evade.
