Lifetime

The monodists
1991

translated by Elena Vlastari

Lifetime
And if you never came.

Salty breeze of the sea
I slipped
from the angel's hand
who was transferring
the Oracle.

An instant in the vines
in the sun's charm
and then back to the eerie boat
which was transporting gold
I lost you.

Lifetime
And if you never came.

You made my seasons,
an hour
A sinale moment that I should-
I should encounter without
another chance.

You did not come.

Your absence is melting my last connections.
The rest of the azure islands
are trembling in the sight of the responsibility
of the sea.
Fate of the sea forever
changing,embraces them
The starfish drained
the sand with its laugh.

You never came.
